Three straight for MU after 3s from Thomas

by WDJT Sports

Marquette senior guard Jake Thomas hit a career-high six three-pointers, leading Marquette to a 81-72 win over Xavier at the BMO Harris Bradley Center Saturday afternoon.

All of Thomas' 18 points came from beyond the arc. Both Davante Gardner and Jamil Wilson added 16 points in the victory.

The Golden Eagles' third straight win is their longest win streak of the season. It also tied them with the Musketeers for third place in the Big East at 7-5.
