LEXINGTON - Another Golden Eagles rally has put Marquette in the Sweet 16 for the third consecutive season.

Vander Blue hit a 3 pointer with 1:29 to play in the second half, and MU withstood one last Butler stand to claim a 74-72 win and a berth in the Sweet 16.

Marquette will face the winner of Sunday's Illinois-Miami game next Thursday in Washington, DC.

Blue finished with 29 points to lead all scorers. Trent Lockett and Jamil Wilson added 13 points each.

The Golden Eagles trailed for more than 20 minutes of action, but retook the lead with seven minutes to play in the second half, setting up some back and forth momentum swings in the game's final minutes.
