Saturday's career ends at Pro Bowl
HONOLULU - The final snap of Jeff Saturday's NFL career was probably its strangest.
In the first quarter of Sunday's Pro Bowl in Honolulu, Saturday, an offensive lineman for the NFC squad, lined up at center for the AFC and snapped the football to Peyton Manning one final team. Saturday and Manning played more than a decade together in Indianapolis. Saturday played for the Packers this past season, making the Pro Bowl but losing his starting job late in the season. Russell Wilson, the former Badgers quarterback, threw three touchdown passes in the NFC's 62-35 win. The Ravens and 49ers meet in Super Bowl XLVII on Sunday, February 3rd on CBS 58. |
