MILWAUKEE - Larry Sanders role in a bar fight in downtown Milwaukee will ended up costing the Bucks center six weeks of game action.

Sanders had surgery Monday on the thumb he injured during the fight November 3rd. Doctors believe Sanders will be out until around Christmas. The Bucks play at Brooklyn December 27th.

Sanders had complained about a lack of playing before his involvement in what the team calls an 'off-the-court incident'.
