Report: Benson could be out 8 weeks with foot injury

ESPN is reporting Cedric Benson could miss at least 8 weeks if his left foot injury is determined to be a Lisfranc fracture.

Benson is scheduled to undergo further tests, and if he requires surgery he could miss the entire season.

Alex Green filled in for Benson Sunday against the Colts, and rushed for more than 50 yards.

Benson was ruled out of Sunday's game in Houston by Mike McCarthy on Monday.
