GREEN BAY - The Packers have pressed the reset button on their search for a backup for Aaron Rodgers.

Seneca Wallace and Scott Tolzien were signed Monday. Wallace is a 10-year veteran who was cut last week by the San Francisco 49ers, the Packers' Week 1 opponent. Scott Tolzien, another former 49er, led the Badgers to the Rose Bowl in the 2010 season while winning the Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Award.

B.J. Coleman was released, wiping the Packers roster of any quarterback from training camp not named Aaron Rodgers.

Other Packers signings on Monday, all to the practice squad, included G Bryan Collins, WR Charles Johnson, CB James Nixon, TE Jake Stoneburner, WR Myles White, T Aaron Adams and RB Michael Hill.
