Packers sign LB Johnson to practice squad, release CB Merrill

The Packers continue to tweak their roster, even after making the playoffs as the NFC's #3 seed.

The Packers signed LB Micah Johnson to the practice squad and released CB Otis Merrill from the practice squad Monday.

Johnson has one game of NFL experience, in 2010 with the Miami Dolphins. He was with the Bengals during this preseason.

The Packers face the Minnesota Vikings in the playoffs' opening round this Saturday at 7:00 PM.
