Packers drop opener in San Francisco

The Green Bay Packers lost their season opener to the San Francisco 49ers 34-28 at Candlestick Park Sunday evening.

Niners quarterback Colin Kaepernick threw for a career-high 412 yards and three touchdowns. Receiver Anquan Boldin caught 13 passes for 208 of those yards.

Packers QB Aaron Rodgers threw for 333 yards and three touchdowns along with an interception.
