Marquette survives Providence and a dive bombing bat

MILWAUKEE -- Marquette picked up a 81-71 victory over Providence Saturday in a game delayed several times because of a bat flying around the BMO Harris Bradley Center..

Junior Cadougan scored 15 points for the Golden Eagles, who won their 14th game of the season.

Trent Lockett and Davante Gardner each scored 13.

The Golden Eagles had lost their last game 63-61 in overtime to Cincinnati.
