Marquette set to play Notre Dame in the Big East tournament

NEW YORK -- Marquette will take on Notre Dame in the Big East tournament, after the Irish knocked off Rutgers 69-61.

Tim Knight scored 18 points, and Pat Connaughton had 21 for Notre Dame.

The Irish have reached the semi-finals the last 3 years, but have never won the Big East title.
