Marquette falls to G'town 63-55

WASHINGTON, DC - Marquette lost a tough road contest to Georgetown by a final of 63-55. The Golden Eagles were ranked in the top 20 in both polls coming into Monday night's game.

Marquette turned the ball over 19 times and were also out rebounded by the Hoyas.

With the loss, the Golden Eagles fall to 8-3 in the Big East. All six of Marquette's losses have come on the road this season.

Jamil Wilson led the Golden Eagles with 13 points and 5 rebounds.

Otto Porter Jr. scored 21 points for the Hoyas in the win.
