Marquette falls in overtime at Cincinnati

CINCINNATI -- Sean Kilpatrick scored a career high 36 points, and Cincinnati beat Marquette 71-69 in overtime.

The Golden Eagles never led until the overtime period. It was the first loss for Marquette in Big East play.

Marquette had won 6 games in a row, but couldn't overcome a 16 point deficit. The Golden Eagles hit 6 three-pointers in the second half.

Vander Blue led Marquette in scoring with 16.
