INDIANAPOLIS - Tony Kanaan took the lead with just four laps to go in the Indianapolis 500 Sunday. One lap later, Dario Franchitti slammed into the wall, and the resulting caution gave Kanaan his first Indy 500 win after 12 years of heartbreak on the Indy track.

The race featured 68 lead changes, exactly double the old Indy 500 record of 34.
