MILWAUKEE - A marathon game at Miller Park Sunday featured 13 innings of baseball, but just one run.

Fortunately for Brewers fans, that run came off the bat of a hometown player.

Caleb Gindl homered in the bottom of the 13th inning, giving the Brewers a hard-fought 1-0 win.

John Axford got the win with two scoreless innings of relief. Wily Peralta started and threw eight scorless for the Brewers.

In the three-game sweep, Brewers pitching threw 31 innings without giving up a run.

The San Diego Padres come to Miller Park for four games starting Monday.
