Former Brewer Greinke breaks silence about Braun

by WDJT Sports

LOS ANGELES - Zack Greinke, former Brewers pitcher and former teammate of Ryan Braun, broke four days of silence about the slugger's suspension Friday.

Greinke tells the Los Angeles Times that Braun lied to his teammates and "threw people under the bus". Greinke also says he believed Braun was innocent after seeing his 2012 season.

The pitcher, now with the Los Angeles Dodgers, also says he's upset Braun hasn't issued a real apology.

Greinke was traded from the Brewers to the Los Angeles Angels last July. He signed with the Dodgers in the offseason.
