Former Badger Wilson headed to Pro Bowl

by WDJT Sports

Wisconsin knew they had a winner in Russell Wilson from the first day he walked onto the practice field. Wilson's wins have continued with Monday's news that he's been named to the NFC Pro Bowl Roster as an injury replacement for Matt Ryan.

Wilson was Wisconsin's starting quarterback in the 2011 season. He led Seattle to the NFC Divisional Playoffs in his first NFL season after beating out free agent signee Matt Flynn for the Seahawks' starting quarterback job.
