MILWAUKEE - The Brewers scored five runs in the first inning, and added another in the seventh, to claim a 6-3 win over the Rangers at Miller Park Tuesday in the first game in a short series.

Yuniesky Betancourt homered in the first, a two-run shot, his 8th home run of the season. Carlos Gomez also drove in two runs with a double in that first inning.
