Creighton signs basketball player from Berlin
OMAHA, Neb. (AP) -- Creighton has signed three men's basketball players to national letters of intent.
The Bluejays landed commitments Wednesday from 6-foot-9 forward Zach Hanson of Pierre, S.D.; 6-6 guard Darian Harris of Springdale, Ark.; and 6-10 forward Toby Hegner of Berlin, Wis. Hanson was named South Dakota Gatorade Player of the Year as a junior at Riggs High School in Pierre after averaging 17 points, 7.7 rebounds and 1.9 blocks a game. Hanson is a two-time all-state pick and enters his fourth year on the varsity ranked third in school history in rebounds and seventh in scoring. Harris averaged 23.1 points, 7.8 rebounds and 5.7 rebounds for Shiloh Christian High School last season. Hegner averaged 16.9 points, 8.9 rebounds and 1.8 blocks for Berlin High. |
