KANSAS CITY - John Dorsey has been a Green Bay Packer for 27 years, but that longstanding era came to an end Monday when he was introduced as the new general manager of the Kansas City Chiefs.

Dorsey played for the Packers in the 1980's as a linebacker, then worked his way through the organizational ranks, ending up as the Director of College Scouting before taking the Chiefs' GM job.

In Kansas City, Dorsey will reunite with Andy Reid, former Packers assistant coach in the 1990s and new head coach of the Chiefs. Reid recently left the Eagles organization after an extended tenure as head coach.
