Cardinals bats pound Brewers 6-1

by WDJT Sports

MILWAUKEE - The Brewers had mastered just about everyone they'd played this season, but the Cardinals still have Milwaukee's number.

St. Louis pounded out six runs, including a pair of homers off Jim Henderson in the ninth inning, to beat the Brewers 6-1 at Miller Park Tuesday night.

Aramis Ramirez notched the Brewers only run with a solo homer.

Wily Peralta gets the start Wednesday afternoon at 12:10 as the Brew Crew try to avoid a three-game sweep at the hands of their division rivals.
