Bucks fire head coach Boylan

MILWAUKEE - The Milwaukee Bucks have fired head coach Jim Boylan after half a season at the helm.

Boylan took over for Scott Skiles in January, and the Bucks won eight of their first 11 games under his leadership. But a late season losing streak, a playoff sweep at the hands of the Miami Heat, and clashes with key players like J.J. Redick and Brandon Jennings marked a rough end to the season.

Boylan was 22-32 as Bucks coach.
