SAN DIEGO - The hits - and wins - just keep on coming.

The Brewers scored six runs in the first two innings in San Diego Tuesday night, then held on for a 6-3 victory, the Brewers' ninth consecutive win.

The last time the franchise had a win streak this long was in 2008, a year in which the Brewers made the playoffs.

The series in San Diego wraps up with a night game Wednesday, with first pitch scheduled for 9:10PM Central Time.
