WASHINGTON - In a long season full of bad injury news, the Brewers hope the latest player to leave a game isn't out long.

After all, Wily Peralta appears to have finally hit his stride.

Peralta pitched 5 1/3 scoreless innings before leaving with a hamstring issue, and the Brewers relievers finished up a 4-0 win over the Nationals in Washington.

The Brewers offense couldn't break through against Stephen Strasburg, but finally put some runs up on the board against Drew Storen in the eighth. Juan Francisco drove in two with a double, and Martin Maldonado hit a deep fly ball off Bryce Harper's glove in left field to bring home another run in the four-run inning.

The Brewers and Nationals play Wednesday at 5:05 Central Time. Kyle Lohse, who was lifted Sunday because of a long rain delay, will take the mound Wednesday night in Washington.
