Former Brewers sign new deals

MILWAUKEE, WI -- Two veteran free agents who played for Milwaukee the past two seasons signed new deals Thursday.
Outfielder Nyjer Morgan reportedly agreed to a $1.6 million contract with the Yokohama BayStars of Japan's Central League.
Right-hander Shaun Marcum signed a one-year deal with the New York Mets.
