MILWAUKEE - The Cardinals scored all the runs they needed in one inning against Wily Peralta, and a late Brewers rally fell short in a 6-5 Milwaukee loss Thursday night.

St. Louis racked up six runs against Peralta in the third inning, thanks to a string of RBI singles. From there, the Brewers chipped away at the lead, scoring once in the fourth, twice in the seventh, and once each in the eighth and ninth.

Jake Westbrook picked up career win number 100.
