Brewers get swept by Reds

CINCINNATI - At least the Brewers' series with the Reds is over now.

Sunday, Wily Peralta gave up four runs, three earned, and the Brewers lone run came on a passed ball in a 5-1 loss to the Reds, who swept the three game series in Cincinnati.

Mike Fiers, pitching in relief after getting recalled from the minor leagues Sunday morning, pitched two innings and allowed one run. Fiers is pitching with a heavy heart after having to leave his mother's bedside at a hospital in Florida to join the team in Cincinnati.

The Brewers start a four game series in Pittsburgh Monday evening at 6:05 Central Time. Marco Estrada (2-2) starts for the Brewers against A.J. Burnett.
