Brewers drop series opener to Twins with several players out

MILWAUKEE - Carlos Gomez homered twice, for the second time in three days, and Jean Segura added a solo home run, but the Brewers lost their series opener 6-3 to the Twins at Miller Park Monday.

Gomez and Segura hit back to back home runs in the sixth inning to cut their deficit to 4-3, but pitchers allowed two more late runs to seal the loss.

Wily Peralta walked five batters in five innings to take the loss.
