Braun wins Silver Slugger Award

MILWAUKEE -- Ryan Braun was rewarded his fifth straight Silver Slugger Award.

Braun led the National League with 41 home runs and 108 runs scored. He was also second in the league in RBIs and hits.

Braun was joined by Pittsburgh's Andrew McCutchen and Cincinnati's Jay Bruce as the three recipients.

Aramis Ramirez was runner up for the award at third base but lost out to Chase Headley of San Diego.
