MILWAUKEE - Ryan Braun homered for the second straight game, and Carlos Gomez added a key 7th inning blast in the Brewers' 5-4 win over the Cubs Friday night at Miller Park.

Braun's homer, a three-run shot, came in the first with no one out against Jeff Samardzija. Jonathan Lucroy added an RBI triple in the four-run inning.

Marco Estrada gave up three runs over six innings to get the win. Jim Henderson nailed down the save with a scoreless ninth, punctuated by Lucroy's throwing out Julio Borbon attempting to steal second for the game's final out.

The Brewers have now win five straight games and can get back to .500 on the season with a win Saturday at Miller Park.
