MADISON - The Badgers had two weeks to stew over the loss at Ohio State, and they took out their frustration on 19th ranked Northwestern at Camp Randall Stadium Saturday.

Melvin Gordon rushed for a 71-yard touchdown, and Joel Stave threw three TD passes, as the Badgers beat the Wildcats 35-6.

Wisconsin (4-2, 2-1) totalled 527 yards of offense, highlighted by Gordon's 172 yards on the ground. James White also ran for 101 yards and a touchdown.

The Badgers play at Illinois next week.
