GREEN BAY - It's training camp eve, and soon the biggest headlines from Packers camp will come from players trying to move up depth charts and make impressions on the coaching staff.

Thursday's big story, though, came from a few hundred miles west of Green Bay, where Greg Jennings took another verbal jab at Aaron Rodgers in a piece in a Minneapolis newspaper. Jennings questioned Rodgers' leadership, saying the quarterback had become bigger than the team.

Mike McCarthy responded by saying that when a player puts on the Vikings purple jersey, "something happens to you." McCarthy went on to praise Rodgers leadership skills.

The Packers start training camp Friday morning with a practice in shells.
