The Green Bay Packers are going to release Desmond Bishop according to some reports. Bishop was the leading tackler for the Packers during the 2011 season but he didn't play in the 2012 season because of a ruptured right hamstring.
Cutting Bishop off the team roster will save the Packers $3.464 million in salary cap moves. It is being reported that the Minnesota Vikings are interested in Bishop.
If nothing happens with the Vikings, the Kansas City Chiefs and the Jacksonville Jaguars are also interested in Bishop's services.
