Bill Walsh

Bill joined CBS 58 in April of 2013 as a reporter and fill-in anchor.

He comes to us from Saginaw, MI where he worked as a nightside reporter and 10pm anchor. While in Michigan, Bill broke a story that made national headlines about a man who won $2 million in the state lottery. When Bill knocked on his door, he found out that the man had a new house and a new Audi convertible, but was still using food stamps. This story is considered to have played a part in changing state welfare laws.

Bill is thrilled to be back in Wisconsin, he says he fell in love with it here after working for the CBS affiliates in Lacrosse and Green Bay.

In his spare time, you might see Bill playing sand volleyball, going off-road in his Jeep, or throwing a few games of cricket (steel-tip darts).

Bill would love to hear your comments or any story ideas you have. You can email him at, or follow him on Twitter @CBS58BWalsh.
