Woman airlifted after crash in Dodge County

THERESA, Wis. (CBs 58) -- On Wednesday, August 23 at 4:32 a.m., the Dodge County Sheriff’s Office responded to a crash near the intersection where State Highway 28, State Highway 67/175, and County Highway TW meet in Theresa.

Initial investigation shows that a 28-year-old woman from Horicon was driving a 1999 Pontiac sedan east on Highway TW. The driver of the Pontiac failed to stop for the stop sign, and was hit by a 2014 GMC truck that was driving south on Highway 67/175 driven by a 44-year-old man from Allenton. A 35-year-old man from Malone was a passenger in the truck. The people in the truck did not report injuries.

The injured woman was taken to Aurora Hospital in Oconomowoc by helicopter with serious injuries.
