Wisconsin Herd announce 2017-2018 promotional calendar
MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- We're sure you’ve heard of the Wisconsin Herd… but have you heard about some of the great deals they are offering during their 2017- 2018 inaugural season?
The Herd is the NBA G League Affiliate for the Milwaukee Bucks. They begin play at the Menominee Nation Arena in Oshkosh on Friday, December 1st. There will be 21 games at the Menominee Nation Arena throughout the season, each game including either a promotional giveaway or theme night.
“We’ve developed a creative promotional schedule to engage fans all season long,” said Herd President Steve Brandes. “There is something for everyone, including a number of exciting giveaways.”
A founding partner of the Wisconsin Herd, 4imprint will present five giveaway nights throughout the 2017-2018 season including a camouflage winter beanie on Military Appreciation Night (Dec. 8), an ugly bottle sweater on National Ugly Sweater Day (Dec. 15), a fly swatter for the Herd’s Jan. 17 match-up vs. the Greensboro Swarm, a water bottle to celebrate NBA FIT Week (Jan. 20) and a Herd baseball cap for Fan Appreciation Night and the team’s final home game (March 23).
The Herd is planning multiple “theme jersey nights,” including a tribute to the Wisconsin Flyers (Dec. 9), the Milwaukee Bucks (Feb. 10) and the Oshkosh All-Stars (March 3).
Additional highlights include Way Back Wednesday, “decades nights” throughout the season, a pizza cutter giveaway in honor of National Pizza Day (Feb. 9), a Herd mascot bobblehead (Feb. 21) and a lightsaber on Star Wars Night (March 9).

For each Herd game ticket purchased between November 3 and November 16, ticket buyers will receive one general admission ticket to the team’s “Wisconsin Opener” presented by Menominee Tribal Enterprises on Friday, November 17 at the BMO Harris Bradley Center in Milwaukee.
