Winter weather advisory for Wednesday. Light freezing drizzle and snow possible for the morning commute.

A winter weather advisory has been issued for Wednesday morning into the afternoon for all of southeastern Wisconsin.  This is NOT going to be a heavy snow event; however, light icing and snow for the Wednesday morning commute could create slick travel.

A light mix of freezing drizzle and snow will start around 6 am.  Light icing on elevated surfaces could create some slick spots.

All snow is expected by 9 am across the area.  This shield of light to moderate snow won't last all day.  Most of those snow showers will wrap up by the early afternoon, so the evening commute shouldn't be an issue.

Overall snow accumulations will range from 0.5" to 1.0".  Northwestern areas could pick up over 1" of snow.
