A winter weather advisory has been issued for Wednesday. Accumulating snow likely across the area.

It's shaping up to be a messy Wednesday across the area.  We are expecting a heavier batch of snow to move from west to east right across the Milwaukee metro area.  A winter weather advisory has been issued for the entire area from 10 am till 4 am.  The evening commute will be impacted by this event; we do expect delays and issues for Wednesday evening.

The snow is set to arrive closer to Noon; however, it will really intensify between 3 pm and 8 pm.  Overall a good swath of 2" to 4" of snow will blanket the area.  The heavier band could track right along 94.  The snow will come to an end early Thursday morning with more sunshine expected for the weekend.
