MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) – A WIAA proposal that would have restructured divisions for small and private schools for basketball is put on hold.
WIAA says the proposal was designed to improve competitive fairness between public and private schools.
At a meeting Wednesday, the WIAA board of control did not make a decision about the proposal. The proposal impacts 30 schools across the state.
The WIAA says it may take up the issue again at a later date.
