What's Up with Walsh samples new food at Miller Park

What's Up with Walsh is CBS 58 Anchor Bill Walsh's take on the world around him. It's a regular feature on the CBS 58 News at 4 and 4:30 p.m.

On Thursday, Bill profiled the new food offerings at Miller Park in anticipation of Monday's Brewers home opener.

There are several new additions to tempt your taste buds, including the smoke shack, a slow smoked barbecue restaurant, Holey Moley Coffee and Doughnuts, a craft doughnut shop.

\"We worked really hard to bring a little bit of Milwaukee along with the doughnut,\" said Joe Sorge. \"And the custard is uniquely Milwaukee.\"

When it comes to planning the menu, they throw out a lot of ideas and wait to see what sticks.

What stuck?

The \"Hamdinger,\" barbecued ham on a doughnut

Bacon on a stick

Italian rope sausage

Loaded tater tots

Bratchos, made from Klement's sausages, cheese, fried sauerkraut, jalapenos, and sour cream on top of kettle chips.

\"Sausages are big in Wisconsin,\" said Jamie Hodgson of Delaware North. \"We think this is going to be a big winner.\"
