West Bend man arrested for third OWI, drug charges

WEST BEND, Wis. (CBS 58) – A man is arrested for his third OWI and drug charges after police say they received a tip from a citizen.

Just before 6:00 p.m. on Monday, police took a call of an erratic driver in the area of West Washington Street near Silverbrook Drive. Officers stopped the car and say the 37-year-old man showed signs of impairment. The man told officers he smoked marijuana earlier in the day and failed field sobriety tests.  

The man was arrested for his third offense OWI and operating with a suspended driver’s license. When the man was arrested, officers say they also found heroin and drug paraphernalia in his car.
