West Allis Woman Arrested for 4th OWI after Crashing into Construction Barrels

A West Allis woman was arrested for a fourth OWI offense after crashing in to a construction barrel on I-41 / US-45 near Mayfair Road.

According to Milwaukee County Sheriff’s Office, a deputy stopped a vehicle on I-41 / US-45 soutbound at Mayfair Road for lane deviation and striking a construction barrel around 10:20 PM on Thursday.

Alyssa D. Oberheu, age 39, of West Allis, was arrested for DUI-4th offense after performing poorly on field sobriety tests and testing .24 on a PBT.

Her three prior convictions were in March 2006, September 2010, and April 2015.

Oberheu refused to say where she had been drinking or how much she had consumed.

DUI-4th offense is a Class H felony, punishable by up to six years in prison.

Oberheu will also be charged for Operating While Revoked, a misdemeanor. She had outstanding warrants for DUI-3rd, Operating while Revoked, and Bail Jumping.
