West Allis Police: Man arrested after striking police vehicles near Walgreens in attempt to flee

WEST ALLIS, Wis. (CBS 58) -- West Allis Police attempted to take a man into custody near the Walgreens located at 84th and Greenfield on Thursday evening.

According to police, the man was wanted for a narcotics-related offense.

When officers attempted to take the man into custody, he refused to exit his vehicle and struck police vehicles in an attempt to flee.

The man was eventually removed from his vehicle where he continued to resist arrest. He was eventually taken into custody.

The investigation remains ongoing.
