West Allis Police: Man, 68, stabbed in parking lot of Burger King

WEST ALLIS, Wis. (CBS 58) -- The West Allis Police Department is currently investigating a stabbing.

It happened around 11:49 p.m. on Saturday, August 11 in the parking lot of the Burger King located at 2626 S. 108th Street.

The victim, a 68-year-old Butler man, was taken to a local hospital for treatment of stab wounds and lacerations.

The suspect had fled the scene prior to officers arrival.

The suspect and victim did not know each other, police say.

The suspect was located and taken into custody during the early morning hours of Sunday, August 12.

Charges are pending with the Milwaukee County District Attorney's Office.
