We saw some Rain and More is on the Way

Compared to the past three weeks, the past two days have been completely opposite.

We traded the sunshine for gloomy cloud cover and fog and the dry weather for scattered light rain showers and a few rumbles of thunder.

Scattered storms moved through the area Friday late morning through the afternoon hours dropping some good rainfall totals for our northern and northwestern communities. Fond du Lac and Sheboygan counties needed rain the most after being placed in the \"abnormally dry\" category last week. Fortunately, they picked up the most with over half an inch falling in two days.

Our northwestern communities picked up a chunk too over a quarter of a inch, but our southeastern counties were left mostly dry.

But, there's still time! More rain chances are on the way for Sunday and Monday. Sunday's rain looks best for communities south of I-94 precisely where they haven't seen a lot of rain Friday or Saturday. There is a chance that Sunday's rain will stay south of the WI/IL border, but there's still a good chance we pick up at least a little measurable rain.

On Monday another rain chance moves our way with scattered showers and storms mainly in the morning. The possibility for another half to full inch of rain is not out of the question. The best part is that neither of these rain/storm chances come with the risk for severe weather!
