Waukesha DA says more people addicted to painkillers

NEW BERLIN--A man desperate for painkillers pulled a shotgun and sparked a 90- minute long stand off in New Berlin Wednesday afternoon.
Waukesha County District Attorney Brad Shimel wasn't surprised by the news
\"Not at all. It's where we're at. They are stealing everything from their families and when there is nothing left to steal or pawn, they are heading out and doing other crimes in the community,\" said Shimel.
