Village of Shorewood welcomes "The Ghost Train Holiday Express" for all of December

SHOREWOOD, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Starting Friday, December 8, residents and visitors will be able to see a fun, new twist on the Ghost Train. While the normal train runs will occur at 7:00 p.m. and 7:15 p.m. daily, a third train run will go at 7:30 p.m. This run will be the Holiday Express, which will include a steam engine train filled with fun colors, graphics, and sound.

The Ghost Train Holiday Express will be for the month of December and will run every Friday and Saturday at 7:30 p.m. There will also be a special run the nights of December 24, 25, and 31. Residents and visitors are encouraged to grab a warm beverage and watch the special train go by to celebrate the holidays.

Design for the additional run was sponsored by Philips Color Kinetics and Spectrum Lighting Limited. In addition, a special thank you to Chemistry in Place, Light Engineer Marty Peck, the Public Art Committee, and the Shorewood Historical Society for all their work on this fun addition to the Ghost Train.
