A non-profit called "Victory for Veterans" was formed with the hopes of removing the need among established Veterans groups to raise money each and every year and to enable the founders and workers and volunteers of those groups to focus on the service.

Founder Steve Durgin was a special guest Monday on the CBS 58 News at 4 to talk about a special March planned for May 20th to generate awareness about these efforts.

"This march is our first public, national event to raise awareness of Veteran’s issues around the country. I think the general public believes the Veterans Administration and many nonprofits are providing for our nation’s heroes, as I used to think. It just isn’t the case." says Steve Durgin, Founder and CEO of Victory For Veterans Foundation, Inc.
