WAUKESHA COUNTY — The Waukesha County Sheriff’s Department is looking for a missing teenage girl. 15-year-old Kathryn Stalbaum’s was last seen Tuesday morning around 6:15 a.m.

Investigators said they've found Stalbaum's bicycle, but would not say where. We're told the bike didn't show any immediate signs of foul play, but await test results for more answers.

Investigators have searched the area around her school, her home, and the route she might have taken to school Tuesday morning. Dive teams have also searched retention ponds in the area.

We're also told social media sites like Facebook and Twitter are being looked into during this investigation.

She missed the bus for school and sent a text message to a friend saying that she would ride her bike, but she never showed up at school.

\"We don't know what happened to Kathryn,\" said Waukesha County Sheriff's Department Inspector Eric Severson.  \"I don't know if she's left voluntarily.  I don't know if she's left against her will.  I don't know.\"

Sixteen detectives are dedicated to the case.

The sheriff's department is also asking small business owners to review their surveillance video if they are near Stalbaum's route to school.
