UPDATE:Crayola Crayon is Retiring Dandelion From the Box of 24 Crayons

For the first time in a century Crayola is retiring a color from its 24 count crayon box.             

The current colors that make up a Crayola box include the primary colors and unique colors like carnation pink, blue violet, red violet and violet red.

Crayola was supposed to officially announce the decision Friday or National Crayon Day.

But somehow, a farewell video from dandelion got posted on twitter the night before.

The public's help will be needed to name the crayon that will take its place.

It's in the blue family but we aren't expected to see it for weeks.
