Two Suffer Life Threatening Injuries after Car Strikes Tree and Overturns

Two men suffered life threatening injuries after their car vaulted, struck a tree and overturned.

The Dodge County Sheriff’s Office responded to the crash on Wednesday at 3:41 AM.

The crash occurred at St. Helena Road north of Arrowhead Trail, in the Township of Hustisford, Dodge County, Wisconsin.

Preliminary investigation shows that a 34-year-old Watertown man was operating a 2001 Lincoln and traveling south on St. Helena Road entering a curve in the roadway.  The vehicle went off of the roadway, struck an embankment and vaulted. 

The vehicle struck a tree and overturned.  The Watertown man suffered life threatening injuries and was flown from the scene by Flight for Life to Aurora Medical Center in Summit.  A passenger in the vehicle, a 33-year-old from Juneau, suffered life threatening injuries and was flown from the scene by Flight for Life helicopter to Froedert Hospital in Milwaukee.
